Justin Bieber Earns $300,000 per Concert - Tops Bret Michaels, Sheryl Crow and Weezer Picture
After winning the AMA's Artist of the Year 2010 award, it looks like there is no stopping the teenage star. It has emerged that this "Baby" singer gets paid a whopping $300,000 for each concert he sings at. This figure tops the payments of seasoned artists like Bret Michaels, Sheryl Crow and Weezer.
The singer got a taste of the limelight for the first time in 2009, and since then there has been no looking back. The talented singer has been dominating the charts as well as award functions since then. The young star plays gigs all over the world, and according to some contract documents of concerts acquired by Thesmokinggun.com, Bieber earns $300,000 for each show.
The figure makes him the highest paid among his contemporaries like Drake ($155,000), Jordin Sparks ($75,000) and Selena Gomez ($100,000). In addition, he also earns more than far more experienced stars like Bret Michaels ($64,000), Sheryl Crow ($146,500) and Weezer ($150,000).
The star has announced that a part of the proceeds from his album ‘My Worlds Acoustic' will be donated to charity organization Children's Miracle Network. The organization raises money as well as awareness for almost 170 hospitals for children across the US.
Bieber wrote on Twitter, "I made a promise to you guys when I wrote 'Pray' that I would use it to raise money for charity for the holidays. I'm keeping my promise. We can all make a difference if we make an effort. Thanks for always being there."
The organization thanked Bieber on its very own Twitter account by posting "Justin Bieber is on Santa's nice list! He's donating a portion of proceeds from #myworldsacoustic to @CMNHospitals."
