Justin Bieber fans threaten to kill Selena Gomez after they're caught kissing

Justin Bieber fans are hopping mad after the pop star was photographed kissing a bikini-clad Selena Gomez on a yacht near St. Lucia on Jan. 2, 2011.

While the teens have previously denied they're dating, the photos show Selena, 18, and a shirtless Justin, 16, holding hands and kissing during a romantic New Year's vacation in the Caribbean. At one point, Bieber touches Gomez' butt as they cuddle.

SELENA GOT DEATH THREATS

Now, Selena is facing the wrath of Justin's legions of loyal teen fans, who have made death threats against her viaTwitter. Fans angrily tweeted Jan. 4:

-- roses are red, violets are blue, @selenagomez if you'll break @justinbieber's heart I'm gonna kill you :3
-- @selenagomez I'll kill you I swear on GOD!!!!
-- @selenagomez If you are the Girlfriend of Justin I will Kill you I HATE YOU :@ !!!

Similarly, Bieber fans bombarded Kim Kardashian with death threats in July 2010, when the two were photographed getting frozen yogurt together in L.A.

'SELENA: I HAVE A HIGH METABOLISM'

The slender Selena looked fit and tan in a turquoise bikini, while Justin was his usual lanky self in black swim trunks.

Amazingly, Gomez doesn't work out and credits her high metabolism for her slim bikini body.  "I don't work out at all," Selena has said. "It's my metabolism, but it's all gonna catch up to me [as I get older]."

The 5'4" Justin, who weighs a mere 108 pounds, has recently developed six-pack abs, thanks to his love of sports. While Bieber doesn't have a set workout routine, he plays basketball, hockey, bowling, football, bowls and swims.

SELENA DITCHES PURITY RING

Separately, fans have noticed that Selena, who for years wore a purity ring to symbolize her desire to remain a virgin until marriage, has apparently ditched it.

Gomez previously said her dad gave her the purity ring when she was 12.

"[My dad] went to church and got it blessed," Selena has said. "He actually used me as an example for other kids. I'm going to keep my promise to myself, to my family and to God."
